Slendertone abs and slendertone bottom before and after

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you’ll have probably endured my constant media about Slendertone abs and Slendertone bottom.  Four weeks ago I decided (after trying on a maxi dress) that I needed a little help to tone up.  You can read the ‘before’ post here.

Slendertone recommend a minimum of 4 weeks for both their abs and bottom garments to take effect and I just couldn’t wait to see the results (which you can probably tell from the table below!)

I kept a note of the settings during the 4 weeks (5 sessions per week for the initial 4, then you can drop to 3 sessions per week), so if you are planning on giving it a go, you have a reference point:

  1. ABS – Prog 1 : 91 intensity   BUM – Prog 1 : 60 intensity
  2. ABS – Prog 2 : 91 intensity   BUM – Prog 2 : 60 intensity
  3. ABS – Prog 2 : 95 intensity   BUM – Prog 2 : 65 intensity
  4. ABS – Prog 3 : 120 intensity   BUM – Prog 3 : 75 intensity
  5. ABS – Prog 4 : 120 intensity   BUM – Prog 4 : 70 intensity
  6. ABS – Prog 5 : 120 intensity   BUM – Prog 4 : 70 intensity

I found program 7 on the abs the most effective for my abs.  It pulses differently from the previous 6 programs, which just increase in intensity.

Does Slendertone Hurt?

This was quite possibly the most asked question.  The answer….NO!  The best way I can describe it is that it’s a really intense tingling.  You set it to your comfort level and work your way up.  You may start on a lower intensity than what I did, then again you may be on a higher one.  You are in control, so it won’t ever need to be unbearable.

I did my slendertone in the evenings whilst blogging.  I found that sitting in bed with my feet up was the most comfortable and bearable position for me.

Is Slendertone Expensive?

I paid £130 all in for the 2 garments, which included 1 controller…trust me you would only be able to do one body area at a time, so one controller is enough.

Ongoingly you need replacement pads, around £9.50 mark per garment every 6 weeks.

Questions out the way…time for the measure in and the all important photos!

My abs feel really solid when tensed after the 4 weeks.  Podgey belly appears smaller (or at least flatter) and looks better in my maxi dress without spanx on.  Excited to see more progress as the weeks go on and it has certainly made me think about what I’m eating and I’m going to start going to the work gym at lunchtime a few times a week to shift the hard to lose love handles.

My bottom appears more fuller and lifted.  It looked a bit sorry for itself before.  I’m excited to see what a few more weeks will bring, but I’m happy to see my bottom again….it’s been a while!

Measurements before and after:

BEFORE WAIST 27″                     AFTER WAIST 26″

BEFORE HIPS 35″                        AFTER HIPS 34″

BEFORE THIGHS 21.5″ & 20″   AFTER THIGHS 21″ & 21″ (at least they match now!)

Overall

I am really happy with the results so far and I will certainly continue using it.  I really thought my pre-baby body was gone for good, but I can really see it coming back.  Not quite looking like the box, but that wasn’t really my aim.  I’m delighted and so is my husband!

    I bought the slender tone flex in jan and have seen some results but just bought the slendertone bottom after reading this and seeing your before and after pics. Are you still using it? Did you diet or do any exercise whilst using them or is the difference purely from the slendertone?

    • Nat, I did no exercise. This is pure slendertone. I stopped after summer and pregnant now, but I will get back on it after!

    Did you get that change in your body in 4 weeks without a diet and exercise? Only using this machine? I don’t want to sound rude but it’s hard to believe.

    • Doesn’t sound rude… I’d ask the same 😉 No exercise or change in diet. Just toning up the loose bits. My stomach especially was left saggy after birth, so it makes sense that tightening the muscles back up helped hold everything back where it should be. I’m away to start the course again as I’ve since had baby number 2 and the tummy is back again!
