I’ve already said I’m hoping to kick 2016’s butt, in turn carve out a bit of a life for myself from blogging and basically make lemonade out of the lemons that were tossed in our direction last year.

Blogging has brought me so much in the last 2 years.  I already have some amazing friends from blogging.  Some are friends for life.  My newly fledged ‘lemonade seller’ status has given me the time to get to know some more of the community and well…it’s a pretty epic place to be.

Complete strangers have offered up their advice and been an ear when it comes to some issues no one else has ever understood.

With that in mind I wanted to shout out my some of my sources of motivation…whether it’s people who inspire me…those who aren’t afraid to tell you what you might not want to hear…or those who lift you up and give you a little shove in the right direction.

Inspirational Bloggers

Left to right: Katrina – Cool Bananas | Clare – Maybush Studio | Vicki – Honest Mum | Donna – What The Redhead Said

Katrina is probably the most positive person I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.  I love her outlook on life and her instagram is worth checking out, if you need a pick me up.

Clare is someone who I’ve only gotten to know recently and we pretty much hit it off right away.  Her amazing photos really spur me on to improve my own.  Oh and kindness is sharing the manual settings for her camera and for that..she’s my hero!

Vicki is such a go getter and as someone foraging into the unknown of this here blogging land, you seek out those who have cracked it.  If anything it’s proof that it can be done.  Vicki has also given me some sound advice this past few weeks and I can never repay her for that.

Donna….Well she rocks!  You’ll have heard the saying that ‘some people take, take, take’, well Donna is the polar opposite…she gives, gives and gives some more. Nothing is too much trouble and she will also give you a kick up the toosh when you need it.

Inspirational Bloggers

Left to right: Steph – Mental Parentals | Gaby – Life in Eight | Kara – Innocent Charmer Chats | Kerri-Ann – Life As Our Little Family

I’ve known Steph since I started blogging and have been lucky to meet her a good few times too.  She’s one of the good ones in life  A genuinely kind, caring and thoughtful lass who is practical and great to share a few drinks with!

Another IRL (in real life) blogger who has turned into being one of my besties is Gaby.  She always has such wise advice, a gorgeous home blog and well she can speak Spanish.  Anyone who can swear in Spanish gets extra points!  She is my creative and style partner in crime.

Kara has to be the strongest person I have ever met.  She takes everything in her stride, which in itself is remarkable and she still puts pen to paper (or finger to keyboard).  She cares so much for others and has a heart that is endlessly devoted to her gorgeous family.  She inspires me to be a brilliant mummy.

KA is such an inspiration.  I admire her ability to work, play, parent, worry and still look great whilst doing it.  I’m also loving following her photo journey, as I’ve just gotten a new camera myself.  Her instagram is gorgeous!

The people I admire all have different qualities…different talents….different interests and I like the variety they bring to my day via Blog Lovin’.  Who needs magazines, when you have this lot in your phone!

You can find out other blogs I read in my ‘about’ section.

What bloggers inspire you and why?

  1. I agree with so many of these and there are some there I’ve never come across. Vikki is my inspiration too at the moment, like you I want to carve more out of this blogging lark, take it a bit more seriously and see Vikki as proof that it can be done. I also adore Donna and Steph, such lovely women.

  2. The bloggers that inspire me change as my life changes, although I’ve so many I do t read anymore I’m actually thinking of restarting my bloglovin. I used to read beauty blogs and now I don’t mind looking naff! Haha.

  3. This is such a lovely post and it’s so nice for you to give them a shout out. there’s a couple here I haven’t seen and so I’m definitely going to check their blogs out.
