I won’t lie…when I heard that 2017’s Pantone Colour of the Year was Greenery, I was left feeling a little blue. I couldn’t picture ever being able to integrate such a strong colour into our house. However, since it was announced (cue an influx of green homewares in every store) and I’ve had a few weeks to come around, I think I can just about imagine how green could make its way into our industrial, chic, modern (call it what you like!) home.
If like me you struggled at the thought of bringing anything more than a cactus through the door (a token nod to Pantone), then I have put together a little selection of my favourite greenery homewares to be found. Some for the bold, others for the not so bold. How much green can you handle?
1. Forest Green Velvet cushion – RSG £28 // 2. Palm Duvet set – H&M from £17.99 // 3. Moss Knit Blanket – H&M £39.99 // 4. Forest Green Sofa – MADE.com £499 // 5. Sintra Green Plate (collection) – Habitat £8 // 6. Metallic Green Wallpaper – RSG £179 // 7. Bug Print – Graham & Green from £29 // 8. Green Marble Pot – Rose & Grey £17.50
Green can go with more colour schemes than you might think. You can either subtly incorporate it into your existing room in the way of soft furnishing, like a cushion or throw. Or if you are really going in big for the green theme then why not make it your main attraction, such as a green sofa.
Greenery can be part of a bolder colour scheme and live alongside bright pinks, blues and even yellows.

Or if you you prefer a more earthy scheme, then green can cope with that also.

Go on…. make someone get the green eyed monster and incorporate it in your home this spring.
