Before I go to bed each night, I give the girls a little kiss on the head and breathe in that yummy air that surrounds them.  My heart skips a beat and I just can’t believe how lucky I am to have these 2 little ladies in my life.

We knew from 24 weeks that we were going to have another girl and since MM joined us in October, our family finally feels complete (well, I certainly won’t be going through those wild pregnancies again…no way!)

I guess that it’s just second nature to expect her to follow in the footsteps of her sister.  To sleep the same, eat the same and be a mini version of Munch in every way.  If the past 14 weeks have taught us anything, it’s that this is most definitely not the case! MM is every bit her own little mind, which I now realise would ofcourse be the case (no 2 people are the same).  She’s not a big eater, not the best sleeper, but she is full of smiles that quite simply pack a punch and I’ll take that!

It’s such a blessing to be her mummy and I’m looking forward to the experience of helping her grow.  Teaching her right from wrong, sharing her ups and downs and having her join Munch and I in our girly sleepovers.

She has really slotted into family life so well and it is such a pleasure watching the bond between her and Munch.

It’s been a journey for us all, getting to know her and her us.  We are getting there though, one day at a time.

  1. Love this post, ok firstly how cute are both the girls, I love the bobble hats, nothing better than mirroring Mummy in my opinion xxx

  2. What a lovely post! I always find it amazing how different each child can be. I have one now, if we have another I wonder often what they would be like! Such gorgeous photographs, thank you for sharing these precious moments xx

  3. aww what a lovely post. I feel the same about being so so lucky to have my kiddos too, I’m still getting used to thinking ‘children’ rather than ‘child’ as my littlest one is only 5 weeks! xx

  6. What lovely photos, you have such a beautiful family! I am fairly close to meeting my second child (I am 33 weeks pregnant today). I chose not to find out the sex of my baby, but have been really wanting a boy so I would have one of each. But I’ve also been thinking that I’d love to have another girl because I grew up 1 of 3 girls and was really close to my sisters. As I think about it more I think I am falling in love with that idea and am now hoping it’s a girl! Either way, of course I will love both of my littles. I can’t wait to meet him or her and get to watch my kids play together!

  7. You all look gorgeous in your outfits and MM is an absolute beauty. I can’t wait to have another baby in the house! Although I am nervous about not sleeping again! 😉 x
