This week I’m looking at budget bedroom ideas.  I like to keep up with the latest home interiors and I’m forever updating the decor in my home to suit the seasons.  This doesn’t need to be an expensive exercise and with a few tricks, you can update your home on a budget.

Take the bedroom…there are so many budget bedroom ideas meaning you can overhaul your room for less.

Cushions

Update the scatter cushions on your bed for an instant update.  You can pick up cushions with a modern look from a number of places both online at the likes of Hema & H&M and on the highstreet.  H&M sell cushion covers from £3.99, meaning that you can keep your bedroom looking up to date for a real snip.

Door Knobs

By replacing cupboard and drawer handles, you can give furniture a whole new lease of life.  You can pick up trendy door knobs online on NOTH, but also keep an eye out in local Home Bargains stores for an even cheaper steal.

Photo Frames

Refresh your treasured pictures with new photo frames picked up from your local Ikea or TK Maxx and breathe life back into those special moments.

Accessories

I’m a bit of a magpie when it comes to decorative nik naks.  You can find me trawling the sale pages of Rockett St George, H&M and Rose & Grey and you can’t beat a good rummage in TK Maxx to pick up unique and affordable pieces to decorate your bedroom with.

Notebooks

I can’t live without one on my bedside table.  You never know what time those great ideas are going to come to you!  If you’re a stationery collector like me you’ll know you can pick up stylish stationery from the likes of Hema, NOTH, Paperchase and even Tesco has a great range for the budget conscious.

For less than £100 you can update your bedroom and keep up with the latest trends.

I always keep a notebook beside my bed as well (it’s a blogging essential!) Love your simple decor, and I agree with you about door knobs. They’re a small thing, but effective 🙂

  3. Scatter cushions… i love them but i hate them at the same time. I have 4 on my bed and half the time they stay on the floor for the sheer laziness i have when it comes to my husband making the bed ha!

  4. You have some amazing ideas here 🙂 I love Home Bargains for my budget homeware buys!
