For this weeks Bloggers Homes, we are getting an insight into the wonderful world of Gaby from Life In Eight (Facebook, Twitter). Gaby is a fabulous homes, DIY and organisation blogger and is one of my nearest and dearest friends. She is a very talented lady, so I’m rather excited to be able to bring you a room tour from her beautiful new house. Over to Gaby…
What Do You Love Most About The Room?
Can I be super cheesy and say the little person who the room belongs to? No, I shouldn’t write that so I’m going to say that I love the colours in the room. Our home is just over one year old and it was entirely painted white until we did the nursery. It was important for us not to go crazy with pink and not to keep it too neutral either as we have a whole house to paint in “barely there
colours”!).
I also love how peaceful it feels in there when the curtains are closed, letting a soft warm light through and I’m sitting on the rocking chair nursing my cutie patootie.
What Would You Do Differently?
Something I’ll be changing is the curtains. I went for fuschia but although this color is present in the wallpaper, I find it dominates the room too much. I’ll probably go for some white or pastel pink ones this time.
Which Room Is Next On The List?
Oh my! We have the whole house to decorate but we are hoping to get our formal living room painted and wallpapered next and I just can’t wait!

Although the curtaina do dominate the room, I like that they’re a bold contrast to the softness of the wallpaper. Maybe that’s just me though ha!

Such a great space! Probably the least utilised room in the house really!
