It’s the start of another new month!  That means it time for another Bloggers’ Homes… The monthly interiors blog & vlog link up.  First up, as always, thank you so much to everyone who continues to link up, tweet, tag on instagram and comment… You really make this community and without you, I’d be zapped of some of the best interiors inspiration. Big hello to any new faces also!

You know the drill well enough by now I’m sure, last months winner can be found at the bottom of this post and don’t forget to link up with a blog post or vlog for your chance to win a £30 voucher for Rockett St George.  The link up closes 24th September at 10pm.  Please also make sure you click around and share the comment love and make sure you grab the badge or link text for your post.

Now this month, I thought I would feature one of my own rooms… Mainly because this room, Liv’s bedroom, is the first room that has been “completed” since we moved in 3 years ago.  So without further ado, lets dive in…

What is your favourite thing about the room?

Probably the most loved thing about this room has to be the little entry hallway to the room and the way it steps down into the room itself.  There is something slightly whimsical about that.  Perhaps it’s the little girl in me that always wanted a funky room feature like that.  I also love the wallpaper, which is from Ferm Living and it rather timeless and adaptable and the addition of the pom pom garlands that really lift the colour of the room.

She has a lot of cute accessories, like the pink elephant on her wall and her little tooth fairy, which I think are still cute without being too young for her.

What would you do differently, if anything?

I’m not sure there is anything.  Given the shape of the room, and the pitched ceilings we are already fairly restricted when it comes to both layout and also decoration.  There isn’t a clear distinction between wall and ceiling, which means that most of the room has to be white and we also can’t hang pictures on them either. So besides eradicating the pitched ceilings… Nothing.

What room is next on your list?

The entire upstairs has been “almost finished” for the ast 3 years.  I’ve spoken in length about the list of DIY odds and sods that still need doing, or decor bits and bobs that still need sourced.  That’s the only thing holding me back from revealing the entire floor.  In fact I cringe at showing this room, because to me, I can see so much still to do… But we’re all friends here!

There is also a full blog post on Liv’s room, as well as a video tour (helps to get a feel for the space) below.
