Well, the time has come to go and find out ‘roughly’ when my c-section will take place. Today I should get told a week, with the exact day being confirmed the week before. We also get another chance to see her on a scan, as the placenta was low.
I can’t wait to meet baby girl number 2. She has become really active and has found my ribs now…ouch! Munch still loves to include her in day to day role play. She’ll draw her in pictures at nursery, share her food with me and say “it’s for bump” and still kiss and rub her. Super cute to watch! I hope she is just as excited when she arrives. Personally, I’ve gone downhill even more. The SPD has made it impossible for me to walk any great distance and I can’t even be in a sitting position for very long without my pelvis starting to ache. The crutches help me get about, but if I’m on my feet for longer than 5 minutes, the pain is too much. I can only get remotely comfortable lying in bed. So that’s where I spend all my time. The sickness from the HG is under control, but the nausea is still there, despite the meds. So today I will be discussing this with the consultant. Last time round they took me into hospital at 37 weeks to look after me and induced me 4 days later. I’d be so grateful to have the option to be admitted ahead of the section to get my strength back before baby arrives. I’m not sure how much longer I can manage these updates for. I think if I can do one more, I’ll be doing well. So if I fall off the face of the earth, you know why! I’ll be posting the section date on social media later today…so stay tuned!
